I, like most men, have used and enjoyed knives from a young age. I have also always been fascinated by metal working of all kinds. In 1993 I put these two things together and began making knives as a hobby. From the start I have forged all of my knives, and make all of my own Damascus. In 2008 I received my Master Smith Accreditation from the American Bladesmith Society. Knifemaking has fit in well with one of my other passions, travel. I have met and study with other craftsmen from many parts of the world, and have enjoyed every moment of it. I am currently the President of the Australian Knifemakers Guild.
