Peter has been making knives since he was a boy, however in the early eighties after he became acquainted with master knife-maker John Stapleton and became a member of the Australian Knifemakers Guild both the quality and marketability of his hand made knives dramatically increased.
Peter makes a range of knives catering for fastidious collectors of unique cutlery through to hunters and fishermen with a need for strong and reliable sharp edged tools. Peter's knives feature very high levels of accuracy in their construction and carefully considered designs to ensure both beauty and function. Each knife is individually hand crafted from the finest materials. Peter's specialty is in the area of folding knives and particularly single blade lock-back folders.
The quality of construction and materials in all of Peter's knives reflects a 'no compromise' approach in manufacture. The high regard in which Peter is held in the knife industry was recognised in 1996 when he was appointed President of the Australian Knifemakers Guild, a position he held for 6 years.
Peter is also the director of 'Adelaide Knife Promotions', a small business that is responsible for the annual Adelaide Knife Show. This event was the first of its kind in Australia and has set the standard for other knife shows in the country.
